Jamie is the founder and Director of Crest Recruitment. After graduating University with an honours law degree, he was drawn to the bright lights and sunny beaches of LA where he served as a law clerk at a prestigious Californian law firm. From here he moved into the world of entertainment and talent management working for some of the world’s leading talent agencies in LA and London and gained his first taste of career management and the joy of placing people into their dream jobs.

Recognising that he had found his calling, Jamie joined Michael Page, in their property and construction team. It was here that Jamie honed his recruitment skills and his knowledge of the sector and he quickly took on responsibility for the South West and South Wales regional office focusing exclusively on housebuilding and construction recruitment.

In 2017 he founded Crest with the aim of providing a dedicated and personalised recruitment service specialising in the construction sector. Jamie understands the importance of strong business relationships and of getting it right first time.

He also recognises that there are no easy wins in recruitment and hard work and dedication is what is needed in this industry.

He is fiercely proud of his Welsh roots which is why Crest concentrates on servicing Wales and the SW England. It also means his knowledge and understanding of the market in these areas is unparalleled and why Crest has firmly established itself as the recruiter of choice for construction and housebuilding candidates and clients alike.

When Jamie isn’t doing what he loves doing best, he’s a national level squash player and avid spin member. He’s rather partial to a Welsh cake too!
